This year marks the 21st birthday of our Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS), which was created in 1999 by BAFT and The London Institute of Banking & Finance to professionalise the practice of issuing documentary letters of credit and checking presentations.

In this podcast our trade finance experts David Morrish and Michael Backhouse look back over some of the highlights of the last 21 years and talk about the role documentary credit specialists play in international trade.
