We live in a broken world, but that is exactly why Jesus came. In 2 Kings 4, a wealthy Shunammite woman makes room in her home for the prophet Elisha, not realizing she is also making room for a miracle. Through her generosity, her grief, and her faith, we see that God is still the God of miracles. He is not bound by natural law and still brings life where there once was death, hope where there once was despair.
This story reminds us that miracles often begin with simple obedience. When we create space for God in our lives, He meets us in unexpected ways. Even when dreams seem lost, He is working behind the scenes to bring restoration. What feels finished is often the beginning of something new when God steps in.
