Juan Enriquez is a leading authority on the economic impact of life sciences and brain research on business and society as well as a respected business leader and entrepreneur. He was the founding Director of the Harvard Business School's Life Sciences Project and is a research affiliate at MIT’s synthetic neurobiology lab. After HBS, Juan became an active angel investor, founding Biotechonomy Ventures. He then co-founded Excel Venture Management. Author and co-author of multiple bestsellers including As the Future Catches You: How Genomics Will Change Your Life, Work, Health, and Wealth (1999), The Untied States of America: Polarization, Fracturing and Our Future (2005), Evolving Ourselves: Redesigning Humanity One Gene at a Time (2015, and RIGHT/WRONG: How Technology Transforms Our Ethics (2020). Son métier, c’est d’étudier l'Humain. Et actuellement, la crise du Covid-19 et le confinement de plus d’un tiers de la planète bouleversent tout particulièrement son sujet d’étude, ses habitudes et son environnement.
Fanny Parise, docteure en socio-anthropologie, est l’invitée de notre conférence en ligne ce mercredi 15 avril. Pendant une heure, nous explorerons avec elle “l’anthropologie du confinement”.
Quelles sont les conséquences à moyen et long terme du confinement sur nos vies et notre société? Fanny Parise mène actuellement une étude quantitative et qualitative en France et en Suisse sur le sujet pour répondre à cette question. Elle entre dans le quotidien des individus pour comprendre comment s’organisent leurs pratiques et leurs routines dans cette période. Elle tente également de comprendre leur vision du monde et comment ils appréhendent l’après Covid-19. Elle partagera avec nous les premiers résultats de son étude et ses observations.
