She wrote reported pieces for several outlets, including The Washington Post, VICE, Politico, and The Daily Beast. The Rumpus says her newest memoir-journalism hybrid "Suspect" captures the 1990s "without sentimentality, and with a very clear lens." Gina’s work advocating for rape victim-survivors has helped lead to several bills and the DOJ investigation into the NYPD’s Special Victims Department.
