The Cop Thought My Canes Were Rifles | a conversation w/ Neal Carter

On today's episode we link up with Neal Carter, Principal of Nu View Consulting, the only Black and disabled own general consulting firm in the country. During our conversation with Neal we talk to him about his article, "What Hearing Police Sirens Means to Me as Black Disabled Man" and his experience living with Spina Bifida.  We discuss what it means to live at the intersection of being Black living with a disability and close the show with what divesting from patriarchy looks like for him.  Check out the aforementioned article by Neal below as well his, "A Black Mans's Guide to Rape Culture Syllabus".  Listen and let us know what you think!
