Sport Management and the Importance of Staying Open-Minded
Today’s episode highlights Alex Mohamed, a Sport Management graduate, and current Program Specialist for the Toronto Blue Jays – Jays Care Foundation. He outlines helpful strategies to help you choose your post-secondary pathway, how getting involved might look different for everyone, and the importance of trying new opportunities at Brock that you might not have initially considered. He then touches on his experience facilitating our intramural sports leagues on campus, hiring and training students, and how the Sport Management program opened his eyes to different avenues in sport, including that of his current not-for-profit role for the Toronto Blue Jays. | Host: Liam, Current Student – Sport Management | Guest: Alex Mohamed (BSM ‘17), Program Specialist at Toronto Blue Jays - Jays Care Foundation
