This bone chilling role for Robin Williams solidified him as way more than just a comedian. He had done dramatic roles prior to this, but this is by far the most complex and dynamic character that he got to play. It's hard to find the message of the movie until the very final scene; and then it all clicks into perspective. A film about either continuing on, or stopping a trauma cycle.
