Let's Just Talk: Self Harm
Amid claims of a 300% increase in self harm among American teenagers, this is truly an epidemic rising from a global pandemic.

And anyone with teenage children knows it's often difficult to tell the difference between normal teen behavior and a genuine problem. Communication helps, yet very serious problems may be going unchecked if we are not in close, frequent communication with the teens in our life.

Today you'll hear from mother-and-daughter Jennifer and Abigail. Abi slid into self harm for nearly a year without her parents ever noticing. Her friends were indifferent to the behavior, which drove her to it all the more. Then one day, Abi opened up, and the whole family was able to deal with the destructive behavior.
