Americans say it takes more money to feel financiallycomfortable now than it did a year ago, according to a survey by Charles Schwaband The Globe and Mail. Nearly half (48%) of those surveyed reported that theyare either already financially comfortable or are on track to achieve thatstatus. A quarter (25%) believe that achieving financial comfort is possible,but it will require changes in their lifestyle.
In terms of wealth, a third (35%) of Americans think theyare either on track to be wealthy or already are, while a quarter (26%) feelthat they can reach wealth but will need to make significant lifestyleadjustments.
