It's us, Lauren and Kristýna. We are international students studying in Madrid and we met on our first day of university. After two weeks of knowing each other and countless podcast-worthy conversations (obviously) we decided to start recording. We want to document our experience living abroad, facing the challenges of being a university student and the roller coaster that is life in your 20s. We hope these weekly episodes offer support, comfort or distraction to you. Music, emotions, books, culture shocks, studying, stress, insecurities, loneliness, independence – we cover it all.

Sarah L. Thompson accepted our invitation to come onto our podcast and oh boy, we're so glad she did. She shared her story, how she ended up where she is now (living in Italy with her husband and two children), what was it like to move all the way from the US, the struggles that came with it but also what a beautiful life she's created. We related to each other to what it's like having to learn a new language and immerse into a new and different culture (and let's not forget the culture shocks!!).
