When I started the Lessons in Leadership podcast, my goal was simple: to explore the principles that elevate leaders to their fullest potential. This week, I had the privilege of interviewing Janet M. Harvey, author of From Tension to Transformation: A Leader’s Guide to Generative Change. Our conversation was a masterclass in authentic leadership, the power of vulnerability, and embracing tension as a catalyst for growth.
Janet describes herself as an alchemist, someone who transforms what exists into something greater. She left corporate life in 1996 to pursue her calling of helping others navigate change and awaken to their authentic selves. "Life gets easier when you align with your core passion," Janet shared. But, she cautioned, "easier doesn’t mean without struggle."
