If you've spent any length of time around horses you may have realized that horses have just as much, if not more to teach us, as we have to teach them. And many of those lessons go beyond our horse work and into our life outside of horses. This podcast will explore the mental and emotional side of working with horses as well as lessons learned from horses that apply to life in general, self improvement, handling emotions, and improving mental health.

In this Episode I'll be talking with my friend and fellow horse trainer, Deanna Preis. Deanna Preis is a trainer and advocate of the horse, focusing on biomechanics, happy horses, and healthy movement. Using her degree in biological sciences, as well as many equine specific anatomy courses and classical training programs, she works the horse’s body in a way that aims towards keeping them happy and healthy in their work well into old age. She lives in Freeburg, IL and offers groundwork, liberty, and riding lessons. Classes on anatomy and function, as well as video coaching, and clinics.
