The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) shared some key tips, especially when you are called. First, once you determine a scam call, remain calm. Remember, government agencies will not call you on the phone. Next, do not give out personal information, click links, or download anything. Phone numbers included on emails or texts are not going to the real company or agency. Also, only scammers will ask for cash, crypto currency, or gift cards. These are not traceable.
