Lessons For My Kids

For years, I’ve been collecting articles, quotations, ideas, suggestions, and life lessons. The number of articles, books, and scraps of paper began to grow, as there are a lot of credible experts and so much good information available (as well as a lot of bad information). I believe the true lessons kids need to learn include being grateful, showing kindness, volunteering, as well as how to be productive in life. These lessons are being lost in all of the noise. Kids need help to navigate the information. They need inspiration. Disclaimer-ask a professional for financial and medical advice.

LFMK - No know-it-all

In a surprise to you...parents and teachers do not know everything. There is no one and no machine with all of the world's knowledge. We learn bits and pieces throughout our lives and continue learning for our entire lives, sewing the information together. It's okay to say you don't know the answer to something. There could be multiple answers, varying ways to reach answers, or no answer at all. If we don't know an answer, we can seek help, use technology, and work together to find one.
