On the 60th episode of Legend, listen as Samm and Amy discuss the fascinating case of Lizzie Borden and the murders of her father Andrew Borden and step mother Abby Borden. Although the rhyme would have us believe that Lizzie delivered a whooping total of 81 whacks with an ax, the reality, although no less gruesome was a total of 28 and there is no conclusive evidence that Lizzie ever actually delivered the fatal blows.
