In this live stream, we’re continuing with coverage of the sentencing hearing for the convict known as Darrell Brooks. In Day 1, we heard from 46 people giving their victim impact statements. It was heart-wrenching.
In Day 2, the hearing begins at 1 pm EST. There are supposedly going to be people speaking on behalf of Darrell Brooks. After this, Judge Dorow will make her determinations as to Brooks' fate on the 70 charges for which she has discretion. The other six convictions (first degree intentional homicide) carry mandatory life sentences in Wisconsin.
