Legacy
Fusion Movement
25 episodes

The Legacy Podcast from Fusion is about lives well-lived and a long obedience in the same direction. It is all about the long-term impact of student mission. When a student gives their life to Jesus, we join in with Heaven's celebration. But the story doesn't stop there. That fantastic moment of decision is the beginning of a complex, glorious story that goes on to influence the lives of thousands of other people.

In each episode, Luke Smith interviews someone who's lived as a disciple of Jesus for a long time. They might have become a Christian as a student or they might have worked with students for a long time. Each one will shed light on the rich tapestry of student mission.

Kate Coleman

Kate Coleman has many firsts tucked under her belt: she is the first black woman baptist minister in the UK, first black woman chair of the Evangelical Alliance and the first in her family to become a Christian. Completely unaware that she was surrounded by Christians at University, God has put a remarkable call on her life since she decided to follow Him. In this episode, she discusses topics from grappling with the politics of women in leadership to her realisation that God is more interested in who we are becoming than who we already are. Join us as she even gives us a sneak preview in her not first, but second, book!

More about Fusion: Every student should have an opportunity to find hope in Jesus and home in the local church. Fusion strengthens your church with the tools and confidence to love, welcome and disciple students.
