Conversation with a CA/Personal Finance Enthusiast about Budgeting/Investing

What could be better than catching up with your dear friend about life and talking about savings, investments over bottle of wine?

Join me in this episode to start this year with bang! I sat down with my dear friend Laëtitia, She's a Certified Accountant and Personal Finance Enthusiast. She's been in the industry for almost a decade and now as a Head of Accounting in a tech start up. Listen to see us having fun talking about her passion and giving tips straight from the expert!

Financial tips to get started

1. Analyse your spending

2. Create a budget and review it often

3. Calculate your Net Worth (= sum of all your assets - liabilities)

4. Build an emergency fund

5. Start investing (EF is a priority first then invest)

How to Budget

1. Necessities: 6 months average

2. Saving/Investing: 10-15% of net income

3. Fixed costs: same amount every month

4. One-off: depending on the month

5. ADJUST to get to income-expense = 0
