After 40 years as a television news anchor, Stephen Clark, a lifelong musician, found himself parachuting into his own disaster in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, determined to use his journalistic skills to help the community and bring hope to the people of Fort Myers Beach.

"It is impossible to not write about things that affect me. And all my friends." - Stephen Clark Stephen Clark is a storyteller and former television news anchor of 40 years. He is now living in Fort Myers Beach and has transitioned to being a full time songwriter, and is using his experience in fundraising to help other local musicians affected by the hurricane. Stephen Clark had a long and successful career as a television news anchor, but when COVID and then a Hurricane hit Fort Myers Beach, Stephen found himself in the middle of a disaster that was both personal and newsworthy. He became a journalist and musician in one, using his skill to help the community, raising money to pay local musicians and putting on pop-up concerts to bring people together. Stephen is determined to keep making music and helping his community, inspiring others with his story of strength and resilience. In this episode, you will learn the following: 1.
