She held the position of Vice President for the New Zealand Association of Training and Development (NZATD) from 2012 to 2015, and was the NZATD Practitioner of the Year in 2012.

In this week's episode, I interview internationally recognised L&D thought leader, Nigel Paine. Nigel is a Co-Presenter on 'Learning Now' TV and the 'From Scratch' Podcast, as well as an Advisory Board member for Penn University’s CLO doctoral programme.
He is also the author of the "The Learning Challenge", "Building Leadership Development Programmes that Work" and "Workplace Learning: How to Build a Culture of Continuous Employee Development".
Nigel has been a long-time supporter of Bloom Learning Technologies, as a return presenter for our annual eLearnz events, so it was a real privilege to have him on the podcast and to pick his brain and get his thoughts on the evolution of the LMS historically.

Nigel Paine has been involved in corporate learning for over 20 years. He has produced learning software, award-winning multi-media materials, and has offered development and support to public and private sector companies, both large and small. As head of the BBC's learning and development operation he led the creation of a brand new on-boarding programme, a comprehensive leadership scheme for over 6,000 staff, and a state-of-the-art informal learning and knowledge sharing network. He left the BBC to start his own company that is focused on building more effective workplaces by promoting learning, creativity, innovation, and value-based leadership and the link between them; speaking at conferences, leading workshop and working with companies in Europe, Brazil, Australia and the United States.
