Learning 3.0 with Josh Squires

In this podcast episode, I interview Josh Squires, Senior Vice President of Growth at Looop.co, and also a veteran of learning technology, and learning in the flow of work.

Josh has spent much of his professional time working with large learning and organisational systems, working to help them understand their infrastructure and learning requirements from both a technical perspective as well as a pedagogical perspective. Having worked with both small and massive systems Josh brings lots of experience in business processes, technology, and organizational structure. With about 20 years of experience positioned at the nexus of learning and technology, he is constantly looking at ways of accelerating business efficacy and advancement in the Learning field.

Tune in to this episode to find out why Josh believes L&D needs to be less bureaucratic, with less clutter, and to be about embedding yourself into the business, as part of it, not seperate to it.

In this episode we discuss:

  • How the internet age and development shaped learning tech
  • What do learning tech tools look like next?
  • The relevance of SCORM and the benefits of xAPI
  • What L&D teams will look like in the future
