Do you mind if + VERB is used to ask someone if they object to something you are asking:
Do you mind if I excuse myself?
Do you mind if I ask your mum?
Also we don't need to add another "YOU" to "Do you mind" questions like this:
Do you mind "you" sitting elsewhere?
Do you mind if "you" sit elsewhere?
