Caroline Lupini is the managing editor for Credit Card and Travel Rewards for Forbes Advisor. She is a journalist, traveler, and pilot and has been location independent since 2014. In this episode, Caroline discusses how she started her journey into travel hacking while researching ways to save money on her trip to Europe in 2011, and learned about it while blogging about it after graduating college. Her blog earned her a few hundred dollars per month, but it wasn’t until she lost her engineering job that she started making more money from travel hacking. Since starting her full-time travel career, she has enjoyed exploring new places, but also enjoys revisiting places she’s been before.
