Welcome to another episode of the Leap in Life podcast. In today’s episode, we have Charlie Huynh, founder of an ethical fashion brand called Wande Industries. Charlie was born and raised in Australia to refugee parents, and after understanding the privileges he grew up with, he wanted to extend a better quality of life to a wider community. He has now been traveling for over 3 years and has witnessed great things as well as sad realities as a result of tourism across the world. His desire to tackle some hard issues in the Fashion and Tourism Industry and his hopes to revolutionize both industries resulted in him building his own ethical fashion brand.
In this episode, Charlie walks us through how being a high school teacher inspired him to create more positive impact to bigger communities, how this desire led him to traveling, and how traveling eventually opened his eyes to different problems and issues in other countries. Charlie also talks about his ethical fashion brand and how this enterprise allows him to have an impact on two industries: fashion and travel. He also stresses the importance of taking action now especially if we want to change the world in the little way that we can. Listen in!
