Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world. There definitely has been some progress over the last years but no where it is even close to achieving the UN Goals. The UN Policy brief on "The Impact of COVID-19 on Women" mentions that the outbreak exacerbates existing inequalities for women and girls across the sphere - from health and the economy, to security and social protection. Technology has provided solutions to every challenge that we can think of but when it comes to Gender Equality, is there any such solution?
