The Power of Recognition

Providing meaningful recognition is one of the most powerful and inexpensive ways for leaders to positively impact team engagement, retention, productivity and even well-being.  So why do national and global surveys frequently show that less than half of employees say they are receiving it? In this episode, Joe Adams, Director of Leadership Development at OhioHealth returns to the podcast along with Kanesha Moss, Riverside Hospital's Chief Nursing Officer, to discuss the barriers to providing consistent and personalized recognition that makes employees feel valued.  We also discuss how leaders can create a culture of recognition for their team not just through the accolades, but also by leading with empathy and connecting to what inspires people.
