Episode 1 - How to Lead with Intent Welcome back to the Leadership in Construction Podcast! It's been almost a year since we last published an episode. After such a long break our passion and commitment is ever stronger to help leaders in construction to be even better than they already are. Each week we publish three episodes; Tuesdays are "Deep Dive" which is a solo episode where I give a talk on a leadership concept. Wednesdays are "Insights" which is back to the longer guest interview episodes giving you insights and new perspectives on leadership in construction. and Fridays are "Live Leader" where I will be going live for a short solo episode on LinkedIn. This episode is our first "Deep Dive" in which I go through how rigid plans never survive and why leading with intent is so much more successful. When we lead with intent we empower our team to think for themselves and use their own skills, knowledge, and experience to find solutions and a way forward to achieve the intent or objectives.
