She is recognized for mastery in online teaching and several of her scholarly works have received awards. She has authored a textbook "Interpersonal Development: 21st Century Skills for the 'Real' and Virtual World" (Kendall Hunt, 2021) and is passionate about teaching students valuable communication skills that will fuel their success. Our conversation explores aspects of interpersonal skills relative to leadership and how critical such skills are to development as a person and a leader.
