In this new episode of the Let’s Innovate series, we had the pleasure of speaking with Emma Butler, founder of the US lingerie brand Liberare. Emma shares how she imagined and designed an innovative product: a patented front-closing magnetic bra, created to be easily put on by women with disabilities.
Until now, these women often had to choose between practicality and elegance. With Liberare, Emma wanted to put an end to that compromise by creating lingerie that is innovative, inclusive, comfortable and most importantly, makes women feel beautiful.
She tells us: “What I wanted was to create a magnetic closure system so that the bra could be closed easily. That way, women with only one hand or who are quadriplegic can put it on without shoulder pain. Thanks to our technology, all women can wear a bra.”

Dans ce nouvel épisode de la série Let’s Innovate, on a eu la chance d'échanger avec Emma Butler, fondatrice de la marque de lingerie américaine Liberare. Emma y raconte comment elle a imaginé et conçu un produit innovant : un soutien-gorge à fermeture aimantée sur le devant, breveté, pensé pour être enfilé facilement par les femmes en situation de handicap.
Jusqu’ici, ces femmes devaient souvent choisir entre praticité et élégance. Avec Liberare, Emma a voulu en finir avec ce compromis en créant une lingerie innovante, inclusive, confortable et surtout, dans laquelle on se sent belle.
Elle nous confie : "Ce que je voulais, c'était créer un système de fermeture aimantée pour que le soutien-gorge puisse se fermer facilement. Ainsi, des femmes ayant une seule main ou étant tétraplégiques peuvent l'enfiler sans douleur aux épaules. Grâce à notre technologie, toutes les femmes peuvent porter un soutien-gorge".
