We are a married couple from Cork, Ireland and this is our independent podcast. We have similar life experiences which include prison and addiction but also education and we are both graduates of University College Cork. We have both worked in the youth and community sector where we supported young people, disadvantaged people in education, people in addiction and homeless services and people in prison. We are both interested in health and fitness and Gillian is also a member of the Travelling community. In this podcast we will touch on topics related to our interests and experiences outlined above with a variety of interesting guests.

Paul Gallagher was the innocent victim of a shooting by the loyalist paramilitary group the UDA. Paul was left in a wheelchair by the incident but with the support of the WAVE Trauma Centre, began to recover and eventually completed a PhD in Sociology. Follow Paul on Twitter @cutdabegs
