We decided to drag our partners into our podcast this time so they can share their experiences as Star Lesbians.
Nono and Melo get into a little about how it was like for them growing up in a heterosexual household and heterosexuals surrounding them each day of their lives.
As it was a shock to their mothers they soon are more welcoming and accept them for who they are.
Thank you all for tuning in to this episode for PRIDE MONTH!
As you can tell audio is still an issue and we are still working on the matter.
Thank you again for being so patient!
Thank you for tuning in to PART II :)

As most of us know that in our community, the attitude towards Mental Health is not to be discussed as it brings shame and embarrassment for the family. This shuts down the idea of seeking real help, real medical treatment.
Suicidal thoughts, plans, and attempts are rising among Latinx/Hispanic young adults. Although it is still lower than the overall U.S. population, it has been on the rise since 2008.
Mental illness is often a stigmatized topic. We all know the suffering in silence and hush hush culture in our community.
This month is to raise awareness and to encourage everyone to break the stigma associated with Mental Health disorders.

*TRIGGER WARNING*
Growing up is already a struggle alone but growing up with immigrant parents is a whole different story. Today we shed light on very important things that we had to deal with growing up in a Latino household and not feeling understood or going through some type of abuse, to translating for our parents.
Our stories are why and who we are today. So lets embrace and talk about the good and the bad.
This is only Part One! There is so much to cover we need a PART TWO!
We all have that friend that is always so "optimistic" about life and that things could never go wrong.
Those "Good Vibes Only" t-shirt wearing people are all around us.
Most times we question ourselves like is this really how I should be about life? Am "I" toxic? Let's chat!
IT IS OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY!
Life happens, some of us get that and the other half do not get this.
Some friends feel entitled to you, your time and energy.
Today we are going to talk about how to manage these difficult emotions with difficult people who cut us off for not answering the phone on their time OR maybe you are the one who is cutting people off for not answering your EMG call to help make a decision.
Let's gather around together to create a more understanding world.
Oh, btw we are going to remind ourselves that the world does not revolve around us.
Today we are taking a step back and shedding light on our thoughts and feelings on the "Ex". How to handle that certain situation and move forward.
We all have that ex we are okay with keeping around or our partners keeps around. What is the intention behind this friendship or are there no hidden intentions?
Sometimes these situations are sticky and it may put a nasty stain on our relationships.
