Harry Dinnen is a photographer, explorer, and director of photography known for capturing the wild spirit of nature. His work spans outdoor, travel, adventure, surf, and lifestyle photography, often set against powerful, untamed landscapes. With a deep belief in promoting the preservation of wild places, Harry uses his images and social media presence to inspire others to explore the outdoors and reconsider humanity’s relationship with the natural world.
His journey into photography began at 16 with a Pentax K20D, sparked by the influence of his grandmother, an avid photographer. After exploring paths in industrial design, defence, and furniture design, Harry returned to photography full-time, bringing a unique blend of creativity and structure to his work. He shares stories of photographing remote locations like Namibia and Iceland, emphasizing his love for long exposures, panoramas, and the thrill of working in extreme environments.
Harry also reflects on the importance of personal projects, careful planning, and collaboration with fellow creatives. His dedication to storytelling through visual media, combined with a strong sense of adventure, shapes a portfolio that is both evocative and purposeful.
