The French know too well how to "noyer le poisson"

One of the beauty of the French language is definitely its profusion of quirky, funny, poetic expressions... and I know it does not always make sense when translated into English leaving often French culture/language lovers completely flabbergasted... but isn't it part of the charm of the journey afterall?! Oui, oui, bien entendu ! In this episode, I will talk about a popular french expression "noyer le poisson" which basically translates as "to drown the fish"... but what can it possibly mean and how can you drown a fish!? Well that is today's podcast's topic and as fish is involved I will take the opportunity of today's episode to share with you one of my favourites easy, healthy, nutritious and delicious recipe "saumon en papillotes" ! Bon appétit :)
