
4 of Swords is the card immediately after our mascot three of swords, so getting in touch with all that pain obviously warrants some rest. But we don’t have to be in a state of absolute pain and suffering to deserve rest. It’s natural to rest, and in the context of this card, I’d even go as far as to say rest is neither good nor bad.
Swords represent our mind. This card explores different reasons we may need to lay ideas goals and plans to rest... and why that's not always the easiest thing to do.
