Interview 2 (English) - Kasike Múkaro Agüeibana Borrero of the UCTP
In this second podcast interview, I speak with Kasike Múkaro Agüeibaná Borrero, the President of the United Confederation of Taino People, an indigenous representative institution that promotes the self-determination and protection of the human rights, culture, traditions, and sacred lands of Taíno and other Caribbean Indigenous Peoples. We discuss how the Taíno peoples have continued to exist to this day, the Classical Taíno language and the importance of studying it, and their work to promote the rights of Indigenous peoples around the world, among other topics.
This is the English part of the interview; a bilingual version is also available on this feed if you prefer to listen to the whole thing.
