La Danza Poetica #58 A Call To Arms

La Danza Poetica #58 A Call To Arms
Mixed and presented by DJ LAPKAT. La Danza Poetica #58 is “A Call To Arms”. A depth-charged mix made in the southern summer. As it’s the end of a tumultuous year, I’ve created a tumultuous mix featuring some favourite tracks of 2017 that I haven’t been able to include in the radio show so far. Covering a lot of ground, from wild angry global bass to South American hip hop, Los Angeles poetry, Native American fire, French orchestral beats, very intelligent soul, and songs for the end of everything. Featuring Kutcha Edwards, Dub Gabriel, Oroshy, Klif & Frik, Street Poets Inc., A Tribe Called Red, Saul Williams, Kali Mutsa, Nakury, Îota & Tek, Ibeyi, LaDama, Mateo Kingman, Filastine & Nova, Lando Chill, Konixion, Climbing PoeTree, Amerigo Gazaway. Honoured ghosts, Allen Ginsberg (he’s been hovering, but he’s not been properly honoured before!), Léon-Gontran Damas, and … Stevie Wonder.
