24 - CLARITY in Leadership Communication

Communication skill rests on the foundation of self belief and confidence. This podcast is on the critical aspects of communication and has useful content for my listeners, to overcome conversational and relationship challenges that the first big pandemic exposure in our living lives COVID19, has thrown at us. Communication is also a key leadership ingredient.

Great Business Leaders are excellent communicators as the Business success relies on it. One of the key leadership communication style that Business Leaders possess is CLARITY. What is Clarity in the context of leadership communication style? It is the ability of the leader to be clear between the ends and means. They are clear of what is it that needs to be done and who is best to carry out the role. When such Leaders speak, they speak with specifics and define very clearly the desired results and the end objective. One example of such Leader with exceptional Clarity is Mr. N R Narayana Murthy the founder of Infosys. He displayed this role of Clarity with commitment to a noble cause in his entire career. He is regarded as one who leads by mentoring others to succeed and taking a support role with equal enthusiasm and clear vision.
