Take 2 Nightly: Trump Calls Off Federal Surge to San Francisco
Today on Take 2 Nightly, KTVU Anchors Alex Savidge & Heather Holmes inform us of the busy day in the Bay and immediately jump to the news from the White House. After some phone calls from friends, Donald Trump has reversed his stance on sending the National Guard to San Francisco and is calling it off. Mayor Daniel Lurie also had some words about the decision. There were demonstrations around Coast Guard Island speaking out against any planned immigration crackdown in the Bay Area.
Next, in to preview the weather this weekend is Chief Meteorologist Mark Tamayo. We learn about the upcoming rain set to come to the Bay Area.
