"UH is a Family": Volleyball Assistant Coach Josh Walker Talks About Past Experience as a Player and His Future as a Coach
As a former player turned Assistant Coach for the Men’s Volleyball team, Josh Walker is very familiar with how much the sport and the team means to the people of Hawaii. With four NCAA Tournament appearances under him and his crew's belt, a NCAA Championship Title, and the Big West Tournament completed on Saturday, April 23rd, I had the opportunity to speak with Walker about his time here at UH. This meant going all the way back to the beginning, back to 2006 where he joined the Rainbow Warriors Volleyball team as a freshmen, till now as Assistant coach, as well as looking forward into the future and what lies ahead for him as a coach.
