Bangladesh is suffering from episodes of protests with university students rallying to oppose the civil service quota that has been in place since the revolution resulting in loss of life at the hands of the Bangladeshi government’s security forces. Venezuela emerging from a general election without a decisive outcome stirs the United States to deliberate handling the socialist government in favour of its opposition allies.
