Being at home in the world - that's how I personally would describe Lauren. It all started when she was in school and her enthusiasm for the world and all different countries and cultures was born. Later she decided to become an English teacher because she wanted to travel and combine teaching and traveling. Lauren started to teach English in China and later on she went to live in Spain for two years. That time was life changing for her.
In 2017 she started traveling solo again, back to Spain to walk the "Camino de Santiago". When she was back in the USA she had visions of Morocco, Israel and Jordan. So she left 2018-2020 to travel these countries. Along her way she was teaching Yoga in Morocco and did a lot of social impact projects. That was when we met and when Lauren inspired me.
In our interview, we are talking about her way of becoming a solo traveller, about traveling solo in the USA as a woman compared to Europe and also about how it feels to be „alone“ even when you have friends and family all over the world.
