Hello, and welcome to Kompas Points. I'm Chris Hansen and this is my series of short talks based on topics in and around the agriculture world. Ep. 10 National Farm Safety & Health Week

National Farm Safety and Health Week this year is being observed this coming week, September 20th-26th, and "EVERY FARMER COUNTS" is the mentality.

To pay tribute to the upcoming week that is dedicated to raising awareness for the health and safety of farmers and their workers, I dove a little deeper into the world of farming, and explained what exactly makes this one of the most dangerous jobs in the U.S..

Between the machinery, long hours, and now COVID-19, farmers don't have it easy by any stretch. Through my 10th video of this Kompas Points series, I hope I can shed some light on how dangerous this job can be, as well as how you and your families and friends can help make it a less dangerous job.
