Diagnosed with late stage 2 / early stage 3 breast cancer at just 33 — while 13 weeks pregnant — Elo began chemotherapy at 15 weeks and faced two types of breast cancer, including triple negative.

What followed was a journey of strength and surrender: 16 rounds of chemo, the premature birth of her baby boy Max at 26 weeks, months in the NICU, another melanoma diagnosis, and finally, major surgery and radiotherapy — all within one year.

Through it all, Elo’s resilience, humour and grace shine. She shares what it’s really like to navigate treatment while pregnant, life in NICU, recovery, motherhood, and finding perspective when everything changes.
