What does Jesus’ response reveal about His identity and mission as King? K2 Verses 28–30 describe Jesus as “gentle and humble in heart.” How does this kingship differ from the way earthly rulers often exercise authority? GROW IN GROUPS G1 In verses 16–19, Jesus addresses the generation’s critical spirit. How can we, as a group, guard against that kind of attitude toward each other and toward God’s work? G2 Jesus invites the weary to come to Him for rest (v. 28). How can we practically help each other experience this rest in our spiritual communities?
