(19:27) THE LION IN WINTER, by James Goldman, comes to the Keizer Homegrown Theatre stage Nov. 7-23.  The dramady follows the medieval Plantagenet family, who are locked in a free-for-all of competing ambitions. Host Ed Schoaps talks with director Linda Baker, and actors Rick Sanders, who plays England’s King Henry II, and Nyla McCarthy, who plays Henry’s wife, the powerful Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine about this family battle royale.

The bloody and funny EVIL DEAD THEMUSICAL will play Nov. 6-23 at Salem’s Historic Grand Theatre and Event Center.
