In this episode, we touch upon the Moors Murders. Described as a “sexually sadistic psychopath”, Ian Brady and his accomplice Myra Hindley carried out the notorious Moors Murders that horrified a nation. The couple were responsible for the torture and deaths of five children, aged between 10 and 17 during the early to mid-1960s in and around Greater Manchester. Despite their trial for five murders in 1966, the real extent of Brady and Hindley’s crime did not come to light until 1985 and both maintained their innocence until this time. We cover their meeting, infatuation with one another, the murders, the discovery, arrest, trial, prison life and death.
