Malcolm and Marie come home from Malcolm's directorial debut premiere about a young girl who is an addict but the two of them seem distant. Then everything goes down. With Marie's insecurity about her position in their relationship and Malcolm's insistence to move forward from all of the pain in their lives, there is so much to unpack between their relationship, the film and the film industry, and society in general.
