But when he finally gets his shot to become a musician, he ends up in an accident and his Soul ends up going to the Great Beyond. In order to get back to his dream of being a musician, Joe Gardner befriends a soul that does not want to go to Earth, Soul 22. In the process, Joe and 22 realize the little things about life and what people can do to be ready to just... live.
