Episode 150: Screenwriter with Trent Roberts

Welcome to Kids Pod, a podcast where kids get to ask adults the questions they really want to know. Nothing is too rude to ask. You send in the questions and our adults will give kids the answers they want to hear.

Do you know what a screenwriter is? That's someone who writes the words for the shows we watch on our screens, like on TV or at the movies. Trent Roberts is a screenwriter and has worked on shows like Little Lunch, Winners & Losers and Packed to the Rafters. He also has a brand new kids book out now called Stunt Kids. We are very excited to welcome Trent to Kids Pod today to tell us all about his career writing for movies and shows.

*Did you know that the creator of Kids Pod, Aimee Chan, is also a children's author? Her latest book, The Happy Mask, is all about what it's like to be a kid living in a world surrounded by masks. It's a really gentle book that's great to read with your parents, friends and teachers. You can find out all about The Happy Mask and other books by Aimee Chan at aimeechan.com or you can order all her books from your local bookstore.*
