Knowing it was going to be an uphill climb, the 12-year old was ready for the road ahead when he created his baking business Michael's Deserts. Combining the aesthetic appeal inherited from his mom, a cosmetics major, and the art and love of culture inherited from his father,  Michael set out to sell the perfect desert. But to Michael, it wasn't just about a cupcake.
